Peace When Things Just Don’t Work
This post will be short and sweet. But don’t let the length blind you of the importance. This is simply a reminder. There are going to be days that just don’t work. This is life, we are human. You could be doing everything right in preparing yourself for the best possible day and things still go wrong. You will fail sometimes. This reminder is to be kind to yourself when this happens. Life is messy. Sometimes it can throw you for a loop and you land flat on your back. It is important to reflect on what made things go wrong, but don’t dwell. Reflect to find a solution for the next time this problem may happen. Then, let it go. The more important thing is your resilience, and in what manner you pick yourself up to move forward from this moment. This is when all of your previous practice comes into play. Be kind to yourself, take care of yourself and choose when you need to think about it by putting it into your backpack. Don’t let it take over your mind and turn into shame, regret and doom. You have power over your thoughts, choose to move forward. Focus on a new hour, a new routine, a new day. Stressful moments are fleeting like any other moment. Breath through them and let them pass you by like a breeze through the branches of trees.
